As Principal of Havergal College, I am thrilled to share our new strategic plan, Empowering Excellence, a visionary framework designed to propel us into the future while honouring our rich history and values. This plan is anchored in three key pillars: Connection, Wellbeing & Belonging; Future-Ready; and Transforming Tomorrow. These pillars guide our mission to provide an exceptional educational experience that prepares our students to lead and innovate in an ever-changing world.

Our strategic plan is a bold step towards a future where Havergal College continues to be the leader in girls’ education, inspiring students to connect, innovate, and transform the world. Havergal’s “Ahead of the Game” campaign represents our commitment to investing in athletic and outdoor education facilities, fostering transformative growth experiences for our students. This campaign aims to set the pace for innovation and excellence in girls’ education, leadership, and empowerment, ensuring that Havergal remains at the forefront of holistic student development.
The ambitious plan includes key highlights, such as a new turf and dome facility to extend access to field sports by up to five additional months each year, upgrading and right-sizing of the tennis courts, creating spectator spaces, and enhancements of the natural grass fields to support practice and competition quality. Additionally, the installation of a new Junior School playscape has provided girls with an inspiring new space to play, and the renewal of the Burke Brook and Lisa Hardie Woodland Trail will protect and restore the school’s unique outdoor learning spaces.
