You can follow them @UpcycleHomestead on Facebook and Instagram to join in their journey. Class of 1993

Class of 1993 bursary total as at August, 2024  |  $13,777

If there is one thing the Class of 1993 did this year, it’s celebrated. We celebrated our 30th reunion, some of our 50th birthdays, our accomplishments and those of our families, but most of all, we celebrated friendships.

Our 30th Reunion brought together a big group of us for cocktails at Havergal and then dinner and drinks at Carens Rosedale. It was amazing to catch up with Lela Kouyoumdjian, Karen Shelley (from Calgary), Judy Schulich, Erica Lenczner, Mita Ghosh, Eileen Jurczak, Jenny Kerr, Eliza McDougall (from NYC), Andrea McLean Bunker, Carla Morton, Gwen Van Wees ’92, Marian Marandi, Kelly Dimitroff Maiese, Meredith Waugh Wilson, Jen Mulock, Laura Plant Watson, Britta Hild, and Andrea Racansky Thomson. Even though 30 years had passed since they were behind the ivy, it was as if no time had passed at all.

Countless toasts were held in celebration of turning 50. Hilary Smith Beasley travelled to Ottawa to celebrate with Andrea Racansky Thomson. Erica Lenczner had a large group of 93’s at her 50th including Rebekah Nugent McIntosh, Robyn Menear Zivic, Lela Kouyoumdjian, Julie Crothers, Kelly Dimitroff Maiese, and Meredith Waugh Wilson. Lisa Graham, Kim Scott Lindqvist, Jasmin von Teichman, Laura Plant Watson, Andrea McLean Bunker, and Jenny Kerr gathered in Arizona. Finally, Robyn Menear Zivic, Julie Crothers, Kelly Dimitroff Maiese and Meredith Waugh Wilson celebrated in Mexico. Mita Ghosh is busy taking care of her mom, who’s doing well despite her dementia, and moved her to a new retirement home that she is enjoying. Mita is starting a new job next month and as always, enjoying film, TV and hiking.

Alexandra Snelgrove is still in the nonprofit sector working with the same organization for almost a decade – LIFT Impact Partners – which works with other charities to help them scale and grow. Her son is turning 9 this year and her dog, 10. Amazing how fast time flies. Alexandra has started getting back into horseback riding which has resulted in lots of Havergal connections; one of the girls at the barn is graduating from Havergal this year and another woman at the barn has a daughter in grade 11 at Havergal. Marie-Eve Villeneuve’s son plays hockey and so they are often driving around the province to get to each game. On his pre-hockey-game playlist, Song #7 is Jump Around from House of Pain, reminding her of the1993 graduation year song!
